DIY Winter Centerpiece

This DIY Winter Centerpiece is super easy and perfect for any home dining room from mid November through January. The materials you will need are as follows:

  • 3 Mason Jars (I prefer Ball branded)

  • 1 Can Rustoleum Chalked Paint

  • 3 Branches of Fake Pine Cones

  • 1 Bunch Fake Cranberry Branches

  • 1 Bunch Fake Gold Accent Branches

  • 1 Bunch Fake Gold Leaf

  • 1 Piece of Sandpaper

I have found the best place to get all of the leaves, branches, pine cones, etc, for the best price are at any local dollar store. However, Michael’s floral section usually has a great selection as well!

DIY Winter Centerpiece Instructions

To start, take your mason jars outside and place newspaper underneath them. Then, generously spray the mason jars with the Rustoleum Chalked Paint of your choice and let dry (preferably overnight).

Next, take a piece of sandpaper and do a light scratch around them to give them the worn look/feel.

Now that the hard part is over, simply cut and fill your jars with the cranberry branches, gold accent branches and leafs, and some pine cone branches, and you’ve got yourself a finished DIY Winter Centerpiece to show off at your dining room table.
